چکیده
Design of organic–inorganic hybrids by anchoring plasmonic materials such as gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) on self-assembled organic substrates is useful but challenging. Herein, in situ the surface a designed spherical assembly via AuS bond formation presented. First, thiol tailed pyrene derivative (2) undergoes solvent dependent self-assembly, transforming into an aggregate (2agg). The (-SH) rich allows cumulative AuNPs to form hybrid (Au@2agg). Further coating biocompatible polyethylene glycol (PEG) leads construction final multicomponent system (PEG-Au@2agg) exhibiting morphological and spectroscopic features. potential PEG-Au@2agg bioprobe contrast agent investigated X-ray computed tomography (CT) experiments vivo. High attenuation directly anchored AuNP clusters this supramolecular nanohybrids enhances CT tracing site-selective accumulation mouse 4T1 breast tumor. Thus, approach designing paves way for developing future intelligent multifunctional nanosystems capable cancer detection imaging.

Dextran coated bismuth-iron oxide nanohybrid contrast agents for computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
Bismuth nanoparticles have been proposed as a novel CT contrast agent, however few syntheses of biocompatible bismuth nanoparticles have been achieved. We herein report the synthesis of composite bismuth-iron oxide nanoparticles (BION) that are based on a clinically approved, dextran-coated iron oxide formulation; the particles have the advantage of acting as contrast agents for both CT and MRI...

Bimodal imaging combines two imaging modalities in order to benefit from their advantages and compensate the limitations of each modality. This technique could accurately detect diseases for diagnostic purposes. Nanoparticles simultaneously offer diagnostic data via various imaging modalities owing to their unique properties. Moreover, bimodal nanoprobes could be incorporated into theranostic s...
